A revitalized the Russian player won his first trophy for over two years with victory over opponent Moutet in the tournament final.
Medvedev, a former top-ranked player, has endured a difficult season, achieving just one win at the big events and suffering a difficult moment at the New York tournament.
The player's inconsistency on the professional circuit - and struggles with his serving in especial - resulted in him dropping out of the world's top 10 and eventually separating with long-term trainer Gilles Cervara.
Now collaborating with his coach and his other coach, the tennis star has steadily progressed in the past month - climaxing in a tightly fought 7-5 4-6 6-3 triumph over opponent Moutet.
This marks his first trophy after the 2023 Rome Masters and maiden on a hard surface after that period of the previous year.
Success also means he has achieved 21 championships at twenty-one distinct competitions.
"This marks the first occasion I am participating in a competition with my children at once, so to win a title is especially meaningful," commented tennis professional Daniil Medvedev.
"This title is in dedication of my younger daughter her name, because the maiden victory I achieved when my first daughter my daughter was born was for her."

He recovered from a deficit in the initial set against the difficult Frenchman, taking 4 of the concluding five exchanges to take the lead.
Both players traded break points in the middle set before the Frenchman, bidding for his maiden tour title, seized the initiative to create a third set.
He rescued four early-game break points in a close final set before Medvedev broke to fifteen to secure the win.
Fittingly, he earned victory with a point at the net area, with the Frenchman failing to handle a volley after two hours and 38 minutes.
